Jeff Berlin - Bass Line on "Dixie"

This is truly an amazing piece of 4 sting bass playing. Jeff Berlin made me think there were two or even three bass tracks going at the same time when I first heard this. This was recorded back in the middle 80's before 6 strings and Victor Wooten came along. If anyone tells you the 4 string isn't as good for playing chords as the 6, tell them to drop a needle on this track. Transcription by Berthold Basteu.
