Bill Bruford - Lead Sheet on "Hell's Bells"
This is the opening track from a classic fusion album called "One of a Kind" by drummer Bill Bruford. Bruford and his band were England's answer to the major American fusion acts of the late seventies like Weather Report and Return to Forever. Bruford recorded this album along with two others, ("Feels Good to Me" & "Gradually Going Tornado") that really put some great players on the map. Bruford's band at the time included Allan Holdsworth on guitar, Jeff Berlin on bass and keyboardist Dave Stewart. Bruford composed most of the material and was very fond of incorporating odd time signatures into his music. I came across this transcription years ago and it's great because all of the various keyboard parts are notated as is Holdworth's solo. I highly recommend "One of a Kind." It lives up to it's billing.
