Allan Holdsworth - Various Solo Excerpts

I found this in my archives from an old Guitar magazine. It's a very good article on the early years of Holdsworth's style by a guy named Wolf Marshall. There are excerpts from Allan's solos on Hells Bells, Dead of Night, and Fred. I highly recommend going back and checking out these early CD's by Bill Bruford (One of A Kind) and Tony Williams (Million Dollar Legs) if you've not heard them.
