Chet Baker - Solo on "I Fall In Love Too Easily"

These Chet Baker transcriptions are all by a person named Jacques Gilbert (jgilb@videotron.ca) who was kind enough to donate them to me to put on the web site. All of these Chet solos are in the trumpet key of Bb. Remember to transpose down a whole step when reading them if you're in concert key. I love Chet Baker's playing. People say he copied Miles but I believe he had his own simple, beautiful way of playing and singing that had a lot to do with the West Coast scene of the 1950's. I recommend a documentary on Chet's life called "Let's Get Lost" to learn more about him.
