Chick Corea - Lead Sheet of "Quartet #2 - Part 1"

This is the calm before the storm so to speak of Chick's opus entitled Quartet #2 dedicated to John Coltrane. Chick sets up the C minor modal juggernaut with this brilliant intro piece. I transcribed Michael Brecker's solo on this section and it's sublime improvising. This tune can be played all by itself though as a ballad or with a medium swing feel.
