Eddie Gomez - Bass Solo on "You Must Believe In Spring"

Eddie Gomez is one of my all time favorite bassists. A lot of people complain about his intonation and tone but I absolutely love him. This song is from a late seventies recording of the same name by Bill Evans. It’s a Michel Legrand composition and a really beautifully constructed, motivic solo based almost entirely on the melody.
